Fairfax, Virginia, February 11, 2013: Over 100 members of the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce and invited guests celebrated the Coyote Grille’s grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony on February 4.
Fairfax County Chairman Sharon Bulova and Sully Supervisor Michael Frey presided over the event and cut the ribbon with Coyote Grille owner, Tatjana Farr and her staff. Virginia Delegate Tim Hugo sent over a Virginia state flag that was flown over the capital in Richmond in honor of the opening.
Both Bulova and Frey are excited about the new location and that Farr picked Centreville to expand her restaurant and catering business. Bulova said that she “loves the Coyote Grille,” explaining that the Fairfax location has always been a community and family friendly place reminiscent of the iconic television show “Cheers” a place to go where everyone knows your name.
The restaurant’s location at the intersections of routes 28, 29, and just off of 66 and close to Dulles airport is a welcome expansion for the area as it has experienced tremendous growth in both residential housing and corporate and local business growth. Like the Fairfax location, Coyote Grille Centreville features fresh and innovative Southwestern style food. The new location boasts an upscale dining room with seating for 150 diners, a new bar seating 25, and a private dining room that accommodates up to 35 people.
Farr was praised for her continuous commitment to community support and for being part of Virginia’s economic growth. The new Southwestern restaurant and expanded catering operation employs close to 100 people.
“I’m truly grateful for the support and welcome that we’ve received in Centreville,” says Farr. “Our location in the Centrewood Plaza is ideal for us as it’s right in the heart of the community. I thank Chairman Bulova, Supervisor Frey, and the Dulles Chamber for being here today and we look forward to welcoming them here again and again for lunch, dinner, and our amazing Sunday brunch.”
In celebration of the grand opening, the Coyote Grille’s staff treated the over 100 guest to appetizers, including new creations from Chef Balderrama’s popular tapas menu.
