We cannot believe it has been 10 years for Josh and Coyote Grille…. and with everyone’s vacation schedules, we were just able surprise him last night to make it official. July 1 has been declared Josh Alexander Day in the City of Fairfax. The official proclamation read by Mayor Silverthorne is written below as!!
WHEREAS, Joshua Alexander came to work at Coyote Grille 10 years ago – July 1, 2005;
WHEREAS, Josh has given the community his daily dedication at Coyote Grille to providing the best possible service and food and always done with a smile;
WHEREAS, Josh has befriended most of the City of Fairfax over the years with numerous acts of generosity, including saving citizens from relentless snow drifts with his ubiquitous yellow Jeep Rubicon and brown nosing at the Chocolate Lovers Festival;
WHEREAS, He has concocted perhaps the best Margarita on the planet … “the Ultimate!”; and
WHEREAS, Josh would make his mother proud with his ability to create the cleanest men’s room in all of North America;
WHEREAS, Countless females over the age of 60 have discovered that a full body hug from Josh could brighten their day;
WHEREAS, Josh’s nemesis are our chips – not only has he not eaten one in over 5 years but if one ends up on the floor due to a servers fault their job can be compromised – especially on a Friday night;
WHEREAS, Josh’s newest nemesis are our sizzling Fajitas which have caused a serious spike in his dry cleaning bill;
WHEREAS, Josh is reliably 30 minutes late to every engagement;
WHEREAS, Josh has been successful at finding love and is married to lovely Kira Alexander and they have a beautiful daughter Mackenzie Leigh;
